| wow. i am a lazy lazy person. i havent updated this in a while. today was exciting though. i got up at 6:45 am and went to the italian police station. there i waited in line for my permit to stay, which allows me to live in italy for 4 months. the guy spoke in italian to me, and of course i didnt understand. i mean he has my passport, sees that im a US citizen, yet still thinks i speak fluent italian. actually a lot of people mistake me for an italian, and then i give them a blank look. but anyway, there was some stupid paperwork and then i got to get my fingerprints and hand prints taken. he put on gloves and then squeezed out black ink onto a metal sheet and rolled it with a brayer. he then inked my whole hands and proceeded to smush them onto paper. it was kinda cool though. i guess thats what its like to be arrested. accept we do live in the 21st century. and no one does that anymore. its all computerized. sweeeeet.
ps. i miss everyone. i heart you kati. | | |
| ahhh you know whats crazy? im in rome! hahaaaa. i am at the computer lab checking email, send me some bugus@temple.edu. so far in the past few days ive seen the coloseum, the pantheon, piazza navona, the spanish steps, the trevi fountain, and like 500 other buildings and squares. it has definitely been a ton of walking, and i am sooo tired right now from all of it. the food has been good so far, i just feel like im always hungry though, maybe because we havent gone food shopping yet. hmmm, maybe we'll do that tomorrow.
